Society Without Violence NGO is currently carrying out a research on gender inequality in Armenian high schools.
The aim of this research is to reveal how high school students experience gender inequality in school; are they being treated differently because of their sex, do the teachers have a different approach towards boys and girls, do they prevail traditional gender roles etc.
The idea of having such research belongs to SWV intern Annika Andersson who is spending 4 months doing an internship in the organization. The conduct as well as the analysis of the research is being implemented by her while SWV volunteers Hranush Rostomyan, Ani Hakobyan and Ani Antonyan are helping her with organizational and translational issues.

''The voices of women do not matter in this country... I want you to take my voice with you.''
This is how an Iranian woman expressed the state of women in her country long ago and this is what made a group of young men and women wonder about the state of women right protection even in the 21st century.
The evening of November 30 came to witness quite a hot atmosphere in ''Soceity without Violence'' NGOoffice with a group of 20 young people watching the film ''The stoning of Soraya M''.
